Commissioned abroad by the project coordinator and video editor Ben Youngerman, we handled the full technical foundation of the on-location shoot: crafting the lighting design, operating cameras throughout the programme, capturing audio, and shaping the visual language of all indoor and outdoor events and interviews.
Our approach went beyond the technical. We engaged closely with the Fellowship’s purpose, its themes, and the individuals driving the discussions, capturing each moment in a way that reflected the event’s rhythm and atmosphere. The final visuals convey a coherent narrative that allows the story of the gathering to unfold naturally.
While Aardt Studio offers complete production capabilities, in this case we were brought in as a specialist technical unit within the larger creative team. For NGF34, we worked in this focused role, delivering polished, high-quality cinematography designed to integrate seamlessly into the Fellowship’s wider vision.
